[flashback] 1981 Melbourne Military Tattoo

On the eve of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Australia​ in Melbourne, we revisit the Melbourne Military Tattoo of 1981 which included Police Pipe Bands from Victoria, NSW and Queensland. Our band had a central position in the massed pipes and drums; Frank Launt of the NSW Police Pipe Band featuring as the lead bass drummer. The Pipe Major was Bill Brown and the Drum Sergeant was Allan Chatto. I am sure those who remember the band from that time will recognise a few other faces.
