On the eve of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Australia​ in Melbourne, we revisit the Melbourne Military Tattoo of 1981 which included Police Pipe Bands from Victoria, NSW and Queensland. Women have since made a significant contribution to the Force, to the safety of the community, while at the same time helping to shape the state of NSW.
